Weekend Sitting
A Weekend Sitting is a meditation intensive (Friday-Sunday).
This event is open to both experienced practitioners and people new to Zen practice. If this will be your first meditation intensive with BZC, please send us an email at office@boulderzen.org to set up a short phone call before registering.

Friday will include a welcome dinner, an introduction to the weekend with zazen instruction, and oryoki instruction will be provided for those who need it.
Saturday will be a full day of zazen, with oryoki meals, formal tea, and a dharma talk given by Zenki Roshi.
Sunday will include oryoki breakfast, zazen, and will end with an informal lunch.
Participants will have the chance to meet privately for a practice meeting (dokusan) with our guiding teacher, Zenki Roshi.
In-person participation is limited to 15 participants. Participants are required to attend the full weekend. In-person participants have the option to stay on-site at BZC (limited capacity) in one of the Guest House rooms for an additional fee.

Cost
Full Members have access to sliding scale pricing for all programs. Anyone can become a member starting at $25.
We want everyone to have access to this program in accord with their financial situation. If you need financial assistance, please send us an informal email to discuss a scholarship.
